Chapter 5

SWITCHING TO A CUSTOMER

Once you have logged on the MKII website you will automatically be logged into

your own organisation. If you wish to work in a customer's database you will need to

switch to their organization.

HOW TO SWITCH TO A CUSTOMER

Once logged in you will have access to your customer databases. In the top left

hand corner of the website is a drop down list. This is a list of all the customers who

you have access to.

To switch to a customers database click on the customer name in the list of

companies. The drop down list will now shrink and the customers name will appear

on the list. You will also notice that the background of the website has changed from

a solid grey to a light orange. This change is to indicate that you are not in your own

database. All the top menus, while they have stayed the same, are now with

reference to the customer’s details and not your own.

HOW TO SWITCH TO MY DATA

To switch back to your own database, click on the drop down list where again all

customers will appear. In the bottom right hand corner of the drop down, is a button

marked "Home Control Centre". Click on this button to return. You will see that the

background of the website has changed back to grey and all the top menus no

reference your details.
